A print full of nostalgia, inspired by the golden-years of Mix-Tapes. A wink to an era where audio tape cassettes were king, Walkmans became life saviors, and curating selections of songs in mixtapes was the ultimate craft. Their label designs were an art form of their own, where the playfulness of color-coded stripes became their iconic signature.

This DC2 Series revives that iconography focusing on those color stripes as the main character. It is an homage and a love letter to those days filled with hours of TDKs and Maxells, in either C60 or C90 format. If you know, you know. And if you were there you were lucky. Let the music play!

To create our new Swim Sungas we went back to the roots and then applied some of our signature tweaks to it. The starting point was the pattern of an original Brazilian sunga from the 90s, as based on the MMA shorts of jiu-jitsu fighters that back in the day were adapted to use in the water for the beaches of Rio de Janeiro.

Then we started cutting and accentuating some of the curved lines to spice up its sexiness factor, and to bring it to some middle ground between the shape of our acclaimed Swim Briefs and the form of our new square-cut Swim Trunks. Still, we kept the construction tight around the legs while easy around the waist, to maintain the essence of the Brazilian Men’s Sunga. And true to the original, we kept the silhouette plain and free of any accents, pockets, or accessories.

The result is the Swim Sunga now ready to be rocked from sand to poolside.

For swimwear in general, the rule is that measures are stated mostly by reference of regular-clothing waist size (not actual body measures). Using the example on this table, if you usually wear 33" in jeans or pants, then a Large should be your size of reference for BANG! swimsuits.

   Machine wash cold on delicate cycle, or hand wash. Lay flat to dry.

  Do not iron. Dry in shade. Do not wring or scrub.

       Do not use chlorine-based whiteners or stain removers. Do not use fabric softeners.

         Wash only with similar colors.

          Avoid contact with rough surfaces or sharp edges to prevent damage to the fabric.

      Your Swimsuit is made with a premium quality fabric, which feels incredibly smooth and soft to the touch, and therefore should be treated as careful as other fabrics of similar high-end appeal, like silk or rayon. Be attentive when sitting or leaning against pool borders or steps made of stone or concrete finishes, as rubbing the fabric of your Bang! swimsuit against those may damage the appearance of the fabric.

      Also be careful with swimming pools, jacuzzis, or similar places where water may have a high concentration of chlorine. Exposing the type of high-quality/delicate fabric of this swimsuit to water with unbalanced levels of pH (as in when high concentrations of chlorine or other chemicals are present) may leave residues of permanent discoloration ("yellowing effect") on the fibers of the garment. In case exposure happens, we recommend washing and rinse your swimsuit with fresh clean water as soon as possible. Leaving your swimsuit to dry if it's wet with chlorinated water, may create yellow residues of color on the fabric, causing permanent damage to its fibers.
